I build and restore obsolete motors for customers and as one may expect they are DIRTY. I wanted to make a small heater parts washer and needed a temperature controller that I could mount remotely from the tank. I use a 1500 watt heating element for a hot water heater paired with this device and it works excellent to maintain whatever temperature that I select. I also assume that the product is probably being abused by me as the description doesnt state its durability with harsh chemicals but let me just tell you that it works great.My only suggestion or request rather might be a little more robust temperature sensor as I do have to be very careful to note its location and move it around so it remains I damaged by the very heavy parts I am cleaning in the tank.I did just order another one for my larger cleaning tank. This device has shown to be more accurate than the water heater thermostat I was using previously.Very good product
